Jones blistered the nets for 28 points, including a trio of three-pointers, to pace the Eagles to the North Georgia Athletic Conference win. Blaine Phillips added 11 for the visitors.
Up 11-4 after the first period, Chattanooga Valley scored the final seven points of the first half to forge a 26-12 lead, and they would increase their advantage to 36-20 late in the third quarter.
Lakeview would chip away at the lead, slicing it down to 45-39 with just 1:01 left to play, but the Warriors would get no closer.
Zack Anderson had 12 points for Lakeview, while Andrew Brock scored eight of his 10 points in the final period.
In the girls’ matchup, Lakeview led 12-0 after the first quarter and 21-4 at intermission before coasting to a 38-17 win.
Sydni Eaves had 14 points to lead all scorers for the Lady Warriors with Rachel Harwood adding nine.
Amaya Harrington led the Lady Eagles with six points. Marquila Davis had three in the loss.
