The U.S. Army 3/108th Cavalry Squadron presented Hutcheson Medical Center’s emergency department with a certificate of appreciation Aug. 5 along with Army coins.

The certificate was presented to Hutcheson in recognition of the crucial role it played in providing medical assistance and emergency care during the squadron’s annual training exercises in Ringgold.

“It was an honor for us to provide emergency medical care to the dedicated members of the local group of Army professionals who serve our country,” said Charles Stewart, Hutcheson president and CEO. “The physicians and staff in our emergency department were able to treat the emergency needs of the two patients involved with the squadron, and we wish them the best in their training missions.”
