Georgia Speaker of the House David Ralston (center) shares a laugh with state Rep. Tom Weldon (left) of Ringgold and state Sen. Jeff Mullis of Chickamauga. Ralston was the keynote speaker at a Republican Party fundraiser for Weldon, who is seeking re-election to the House District 3 seat. The district includes nine precincts in Catoosa: Blackstock, Boynton, Chambers, Duncan Park, Graysville, Poplar Springs, Ringgold, Westside and Woodstation. More than 60 people attended the $100-a-plate fundraiser Tuesday night, June 29, at Worley’s Outback in Ringgold. Ralston, who lives in Blue Ridge, is the 73rd speaker of the House and the first one from north of the Atlanta area. (Catoosa News photo/Tim Carlfeldt)

Time for a change. Out with old and in with the new. I am in favor of term limits. If they have "Incumbent" by them I will not vote for them.

Could we get Mr. Tom Weldon to express his feelings toward our LMJC's way of the handling of the Tonya Craft case? Also would you please tell us about feeling you may have toward the Eric Echol's arrest?
