Lewis also testified that Craft did not touch her breasts. Gregor is exploring the two weddings the Crafts had in the summer of 2007. Craft told Gregor he could explain it to her if he wanted.
3:27 p.m.
Gregor asks why she didn't jump at the chance to tell the truth on May 30, 2008, when the allegations came out. He says she's all about the truth and media attention now, but wasn't then. Craft says she just wanted to speak with a lawyer because of the severity of the allegations.
3:25 p.m.
Gregor is asking about Craft claiming to meet Catoosa County sheriff’s detective Tim Deal in 15 minutes and not showing up. She denies that happened. Craft denies it happened that way and says she did go there and talk to her. Craft claims she knocked on the door and talked to the woman. Craft claims to have the conversation recorded. Gregor says nobody gets offended when he turns around and sees "Team Tonya" sitting in the courtroom. Gregor then asks if it was Tonya's idea to have Lorandos wear a yellow tie when questioning alleged victim #1, who reportedly has issues with the color, to which Craft replied, "no."

Craft says that through garage sales, refinancing of homes, help from parents, and supporters, she has spent close to $500,000 on her defense in this case. Lorandos: Does that make you a child molester? Craft: No. Lorandos: What about the lesbian encounters you supposedly had that your ex-husband Joel Henke suddenly recalled on his way to the courthouse? Did you have lesbian encounters? Craft: No. Lorandos: If you had those encounters, would it make you a child molester? Craft: No.
2:12 p.m.
Lorandos asks if being married three times makes her a child molester, to which Craft replied "no." Lorandos then asks if Elizabeth Taylor, Zsa Zsa Gabor, or Donald Trump are child molesters, to which Craft replied "no." Lorandos: Well isn't it true that the more times you get married, the closer you are to being a child molester? Craft: No.
2:05 p.m.
Lorandos says he wants to talk about the things that have been brought up by prosecutor Len Gregor. Lorandos refers to it as the "You might be a child molester if..." list. Lorandos is asking about wearing thongs, consuming alcohol, having premarital sex, mowing the yard in a tank top and shorts, going to Las Vegas with her friends, wearing low-cut dresses, flirting with men at the Walker County Gala, being a fitness instructor, and passing out at a friend's house. After each item on the list, Lorandos asks Craft, "Does that make you a child molester?" Craft responded "No," to all of them.
1:51 p.m.
Lorandos is running down a list of accusations made by alleged victim #1. The child stated that Craft would hit her, treat her bad, would refuse to give her food and drinks, wouldn't let her watch television, and would mow the yard in a tank top and shorts. Craft denied all the accusations, aside from the fact that she would indeed wear tank tops sometimes when she worked outside in the yard. Lorandos: Did you ever hurt (child's name) in any way whatsoever? Craft: No, never.
1:38 p.m.
Lorandos says he now wants to ask Craft about specific allegations that have been proposed by each alleged victim in this case. Lorandos wants to start with alleged victim #2. Lorandos: Did you touch the child inside her panties at your house? Craft: No.

11:49 a.m.
Lorandos is asking questions about the custody fight that took place over her two children. Craft says that when things began to fall in around her, she took the proper steps to find out what she needed to do to defend herself the best way possible. She claims she has done a lot of research on false allegations, and also says that her private investigator she hired was arrested for talking to witnesses of the prosecution. She says she's tried talking to the attorney general of Georgia and even the governor to try and get anybody and everybody to investigate what she believes to be false allegations. "I know that I did not do this," Craft said.
11:43 a.m.
Craft says she was 100% behind evaluations that took place in this case regarding her children, whereas her ex-husband Joel Henke was completely against evaluation of the children. Craft also says she fought on numerous occasions to try to gain visitation of her children. After multiple objections by prosecutor Len Gregor, Lorandos asks permission to approach the bench.
11:39 a.m.
Craft says she was arrested twice over the course of this whole ordeal. Craft says she was arrested days before the last Mother's Day because new charges had been brought against her. Lorandos is asking when news media outlets were present during all this. She says that media was at her termination hearing. He then asks if she organized any of the media attention surrounding this case, to which she replied "no." Craft says that she has spoken out to the media over the course of all this, but not to campaign. She says she just wanted to get the truth out there.
11:32 a.m.
Craft says she was approached by detective Deal, who wanted her to come and talk to him about the matter. Craft says she had contacted a local attorney and told Deal she would be happy to, with her attorney present. Craft claims Deal said he didn't work for her attorney and that he would come talk to her with an order. Later Craft claims that detectives Deal and Keith, along with Brian Boggus from the Department of Family and Children’s Services, were at her door.
11:27 a.m.
Craft says she agreed to a safety plan when her children were taken from her. Lorandos begins recalling all the events surrounding the allegations: So, you're kids are gone, you're separated from your husband, and you hear of allegations from children, that you've touched them inappropriately. As she begins to get emotional, Lorandos says, "Stick with me Tonya, you gotta stick with me."
11:23 a.m.
Craft says that on the day she learned of the allegations her children were taken from her. Craft says it ripped her heart out of her chest.

11:13 a.m.
Lorandos is asking Craft's opinion on the separation that took place between her and her husband David. Lorandos asks if David was right yesterday when he said it was all his fault, and that he "quit on" her. Craft says that it was both of their faults.
11:11 a.m.
Lorandos is focusing on the milk allergy that plagues Craft's daughter. Craft says that her ex-husband Joel Henke talked to her at a ballgame and told her about applying medicine to the child's bottom and vaginal area. Craft then demonstrates to the court how she applied the medicine her child needed in the required areas of her body. Lorandos: Well...what's wrong with that? Craft: There's nothing wrong with that.
11:08 a.m.
Lorandos is asking about the meeting in May 2008 when Catoosa County sheriff’s detective Tim Deal arrived at her home to ask her about a situation involving her daughter and another child. Craft says when that was said to her by Deal, she automatically thought he was talking about a touching incident that had occurred between Craft's daughter and alleged victim #2, which Craft talked about in testimony Thursday. Craft says she told Deal that the situation had been handled.
11:04 a.m.
Craft says she didn't like what she'd heard, but wanted to make sure that she wasn't blowing it out of proportion, so she spoke with a counselor at her school about it the next day. Craft says she then contacted Caroline Cobb, an investigator with the Walker County Sheriff's Office. Craft says she explained the situation to Cobb, and the two played phone tag. Craft says she specified in conversation with Cobb that she did not want to accuse anybody of anything, she just wanted find out what was going on and get to the bottom of the situation. Craft adds that she also spoke with Walker County sheriff Steve Wilson and his wife about the matter.
11 a.m.
Lorandos is asking about concerns Craft had in regards to her children's stepmother Sarah Henke. Craft says her daughter brought up differences between Craft and Sarah. Craft says the child brought up that Sarah “has hair down there and you don't." This then brought up concerns on the part of Craft, in which she said she would listen to her child and began to evaluate it as it being inappropriate, bad judgment, or just something she didn't like personally. Craft said she listened and allowed the child to say what was on her mind and didn't just bring up things or question her into saying things. Craft says her daughter said she helped Sarah shave her pubic area so Sarah wouldn't cut herself.
10:52 a.m.
Craft says that in a third meeting she had with the Wilsons regarding their daughter’s development, Dewayne Wilson was upset about where his daughter was and was blaming Craft for not letting them know in time. Craft says Dewayne Wilson then made the statement, "Somebody dropped the ball on this, somebody is going to pay, and I know who it is." Craft says he threw a notebook down while making the statement, and then Craft began crying.
10:49 a.m.
Craft backtracks a little bit to wrap up the "limo party" incident. Craft says that after she talked with the kids about the things they were saying about how the party was a "baby party," the mother of alleged victim #1 and the child as well, wouldn't look or talk to Craft anymore. Craft said, though, that she talked to Sherry Wilson regarding the incident and clarified what'd happened. The Wilsons’ daughter was playing with alleged victim #1 a lot at the party when the incident took place. Craft says there was no talking to the mother of alleged victim #1 about it because her mind was made up.
10:44 a.m.
Craft is discussing a meeting she had with the Wilsons regarding the struggles their daughter was having in Craft's class. Craft says the child was having a hard time, but it wasn't the parent's fault and wasn't even the fault of the girl. She just wasn't where she needed to be at that point in time.
10:40 a.m.
Lorandos is inquiring about the "limo party" that was thrown for Tonya's daughter in January 2008. Craft claims remarks were made by alleged victim #1 that the party was a "baby party," and the girls weren't having a good time. Craft says she got down on her knees to talk to the girl, as she did with every child when they had done something wrong. Craft says she told the child what she'd said was unkind. Craft said she then told David she had probably just ticked off two influential families. Craft felt like the parents of the child were going to be mad at her and things would be considered Craft's fault the next day by the parents.
10:32 a.m.
Craft is discussing a situation in which Sherry and Dewayne Wilson's daughter was in her class and experiencing learning troubles. Craft is talking about how they evaluated students through assessments and report cards. Craft says Sherry Wilson would frequent the classroom to help out.

10:20 a.m.
Lorandos is getting more details about the Craft wedding in July 2007 and is asking about the "High School Musical” party. Craft says some of the girls played dress-up while the party was going on. Craft says that alleged victims #2 and #3 were among the girls who spent the night at the house. Craft says she and her husband David were the only two adults there that night. Craft says no children took baths at her house that night or the next morning and that nothing out of the ordinary took place. Lorandos: Did anybody complain at all? Craft: No, well, maybe David a little bit. (Chuckle from the courtroom.) David testified Thursday that the party wasn't really his thing and was kind of a "girly event."
9:58 a.m.
The court will now take a break.

9:53 a.m.
Lorandos is asking Craft to describe her first encounters with her husband David. Craft says it was love at first sight. Craft says she told her ex-husband Joel Henke that she was dating David before ever introducing David to her two children. Lorandos is now asking about the cruise she and David took. Craft is giving background information on how the cruise came about. Tonya says her son was constantly asking questions and making comments put in his head by his father. Tonya says she didn't want to have to lie to her children about whether she and David stayed in the same room together on the cruise. Tonya says she told David they would have to have separate rooms unless they were married. Craft says the mother of alleged victim # 1 talked her into having the second wedding because David had never had a wedding or been married, and it wasn't fair to him.
9:43 a.m.
Lorandos is asking about the "cowgirl” photo brought up numerous times by prosecutor Len Gregor throughout the trial. Craft says that while on vacation with the Potters, she purchased a cowboy hat, and Dee Potter took a photograph of her on Craft’s phone. Gregor has asked numerous witnesses what they think about a person who would send "a sexy cowgirl photo" to a teenage boy. Craft says that the mother of alleged victim # 1 saw the photo in Craft's phone, and after the two had a laugh about it, the mother of alleged victim # 1 sent the photo to her son to see if he would respond, because he had just begun dating a girl and the mother wanted to pick at him.
9:36 a.m.

Craft said she just wanted to do what she could to help.

She said the Potters’ children really didn't want to stay in an aftercare program, so Craft offered to watch the children through the summer. Don't blame the kids. They are too young to know any better. Blame the system and the parents, but not the kids.
The parents need to pay her all the money back 3 fold and then pay her mental anguish money for her hassle.
After that happens maybe we could talk about incareration.
I came to the Chattanooga area from Atlanta of which I lived for 13 years. Before that I was raised in Arkansas where we were poor and most people were ver uneducated. So with that said I may be able to shed some third party light on this debate.
In general people from the south are Southern Baptist. There are not a lot of Catholics in the south. I was raised a Southern Baptist and have found that they tend to be hypocrits or maybe better called in the closet type of people. The Catholics just drink, smoke gamble and do all the other things in broad daylight and go to confession. So considering I was raised Southern Baptist and my kids are being raised Catholic I figure I have a pretty good view of both religions. Neither is any better than the other in my mind.
I must say I have met and know some gine Southern Baptist as well as Catholic people. They are not all bad people. People from the south have it bread into their lives to pray and look to god no matter if they are active in the curch or not. It is something we were taught from birth. In a lot of areas in the south you either are into church or drugs and church is much better than the alternative.
I will agree most people from the south over the age of roughly 30 are lacking formal education. On the other hand they tend to be good hearted, honest and loyal people. They may not be smart but they make due with what they have and in general are proud of what they have. I am proud to be from the south and have lived in the south. We in general tend to fight for whats ours, but bother no one if they do not bother us. We mind our own business untill others mind ours.
As for evil and good and influential people. It is a fact that in almost every southern county there are 1-3 families that have great influence. This is down right silly but it has been that way for decades. I can say 100% for sure these people can effect the way things go in the legal system as well as politics. I also will say southerners are wising up to this and starting to rebel. As for people not liking where this area and saying it is corrupt. There is a lot of tuth to that. As in this case people have gotten their can full and are rebeling. Just because a person does not like the politics of an area does not mean they want to move from the only place they have known their whole life.
As for Tonya Craft. I don't know her and did not hear about this case untill 3 months ago. I can say based upon my experience with the Lookout Mountain Judicial District Attorney in trying to get a case prosecuted and other experience with politics in Walker County as well as what I have heard about in the news. There is no way she is guilty.
I must make a final point. I have video of the police chief od Rossville breaking into my building and stealing items. Buzz Franklin has been in possesion of this video for 13 months now and has no nothing about it. I have cold hard eveidence that a local detective as well as 2 GBI agents have lied under oath in several cases and made false arrest of numerous people on bogus charges to have Buzz do nothings about that. His office participates in false testimony and helps corrupt officers and politicians get away with criminal conduct. Ms. Parker would not be missing today had they police and Mr. Franklin done something about Sams bad conduct for 15-20 years. They only took action when they had to due to the intense media attention. I believe they had every intention of rail roading this woman. She supprised them with a good defense team and the media has caught on.
Do not kid yourself Tonya Craft is not teh first person to have been screwed over due to politics. The problem is people like myslef have caught on and refuse to allow it to happen going forward. See I have lived in abigger city and have the benefit of learning both sides of things.
As for the kids and the parents. Parents have been using kids in domestic cases for years. All you ahve to do is go to Hamilton County on any Monday morning to see it for yourself. People make themselves beleive things and convince teh kids. In general it is the ones that think they are better than others or the ones that are spoiled adults that have a superiority complex. many people in divorce just cannot let go and let emotions get in the way of good judgment. It kind of like I bumped into a guy at an intersection the other day. The damages was a scratch on his bumber the size of a screw that was holding the Economy Honda tag on the front of my car. The guy jumped out yelled and refused to move his car from the intersection. When I moved my car he started yelling I was going to jail for moving from the scene. A cop shows up and ask if we are sure we want a report. the guys insist. The cop then says look I can do a report but if I do it will get you three points on your drivers license no matter if oyu are at fault or not. he goes on to say that is how it is in Tennessee. The guys suddenly calms down shuts up and goes his merry way. The point is people get emotional over react and then later realize they screwed up. The thing is by the time they see that it is too late.
On a final note. I must acknoledge I have a pending 14 million dollar suit against Walker County, The City of Rossville and others concerning civil and criminal conduct at the Peerless site.
