Jessica Leigh Thompson and Johnathan Daniel Ross will be married Sept. 22 at 5 p.m. at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church in East Ridge, Tenn.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Cary and Tammy Thompson of Flintstone. She is the sister of Payton Simmons and the granddaughter of Carolyn and David Smith of Hixson, Tenn., Martha Lewis of Chickamauga, and J.D. and Nancy Cox of Tallahassee, Fla.

She is a graduate of Ridgeland High School class of 2003 and she is attending Northwestern Technical College and studying early childhood education. She attends Family Worship Center in Cleveland, Tenn.

The future groom is the son of Jeff and Junita Ross of Polk County, Tenn. He is the brother of Cheryl and Davin Perdew. He is the grandson of Gladace Earwood, also of Polk County. He is the father of Caleb and Lane Ross, also of Polk County.

He is a graduate of Bradley Central High School class of 1998. He is attending the Local 43 Pipefitting School in Chattanooga, Tenn. He also attends Family Worship Center in Cleveland and is employed by M&M Mars through Local 43.
