A Rossville man has been extradited to Chattanooga, where he is suspected of fatally shooting his uncle last week.

Victor Allen Narramore, 37, of 601 James St., was booked into the Walker County jail Thursday for the murder of Jerry Henley of Chattanooga, Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson said.

Wilson said a handgun was recovered in Rossville, and some clothing investigators believe Narramore wore during the murder was found at a residence near Cloud Springs Road in Catoosa County.

“Chattanooga (police) requested that we assist them in making the arrest,” he said. “We brought him to jail. He waived extradition on Friday and is back in Chattanooga.”

Chattanooga investigators believe the argument at Henley’s Taylor Street residence escalated into homicide, Wilson said, adding that his department is not involved in the investigation and he does not know any details about the case.

Calls to the Chattanooga Police Department were not returned on Monday
