Calhoun police have arrested a married couple in connection with a prostitution ring that was being operated from 769 Highway 53 East, in the City of Calhoun.

According to Calhoun police:

Annie Hwang,59, of 5842 Johnson Mill Way, Atlanta was arrested and charged with masturbation for hire.

Jin Sung Hwang, 62, of 5842 Johnson Mill Way, Atlanta was arrested and charged with keeping a place of prostitution and pimping.

The arrests came after agents from the Special Operations Division received information that the proprietors of the Q-Spa were running the business for the purpose of prostitution

An undercover agent with the Calhoun Police Department entered the establishment around 9 p.m. Wednesday and was offered sexual favors by a female prostitute.

A search of the business reveled the two suspects were husband and wife and appeared to be living at the location.

Both subjects remain in Gordon County Jail with more charges pending.

“This is the fourth such operation we’ve shut down at this location, which leads us to believe that these rings may be part of a large scale net work operating throughout Georgia,” said Chief Garry Moss
