Fort Oglethorpe held its annual Christmas parade on Dec. 6.

Moving from Capital Bank to Barnhardt Circle, a legion of lighted displays on wheels moved down Battlefield Parkway and LaFayette Road in the parade.

Dozens of floats and decorated vehicles from churches, civic groups and individuals were included in the parade themed “Fantasy of Lights.”

The previous night, Friday, Dec. 5, Ringgold celebrated the holidays with its annual parade, which rolled down Nashville Street at 6 p.m.

On Tuesday, Dec. 2, the annual lighting of the Fort Oglethorpe Christmas tree took place under the watch of dozens of Fort Oglethorpe citizens and city government representatives.
