CALHOUN - Gordon County sheriff's detectives are investigating the death of Michael Oulette, 37, of 237 Hufstetler Road, Calhoun.

Deputy sheriffs were dispatched to 173 Greeson Loop just after 11 p.m. July 10 in response to a report that a man had been found hanged.

The body had been discovered by an acquaintance who then notified authorities.

The incident took place outside the home of a woman detectives believe to be a former female acquaintance of Oulette. Investigating detectives do not suspect foul play.

The body has been sent to the GBI state crime lab in Decatur for a post-mortem examination.
