A Rossville man said after he purchased a residence on Salem Road, he discovered the central heating and air unit had been stolen.

According to Walker County Sheriff’s Department reports:

On June 6, the man noticed the central heating and air unit had been opened up and it was an empty shell, with no functioning unit.

The unit is a Goodman Central Heating and Air, with the model number PH024-1B REVF. Its value is $3,500.

$11,000 Harley Davidson Sportster stolen in Trion

A Trion man said he had been out of town working and returned home to find his $11,000 black 1999 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 motorcycle had been stolen from his residence on Halls Valley Road.

According to Walker County Sheriff’s Department reports, the victim had been out of town for three to four weeks.
