The conference will be held Tuesday, March 26, and is hosted by the North Georgia Regional Office of the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter. The one-day conference will be held at the Calhoun Seventh-Day Adventist Church and is free to immediate family members of a person with Alzheimer’s or other dementia, and includes lunch. The cost for all other attendees is $15. The Caregiver’s Conference is designed to equip caregivers with the skills to understand and address issues throughout the continuum of Alzheimer’s disease.

COMMUNITY · Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park is seeking public comment on its amended general management plan. The plan changes provide guidance for making informed decisions about the future of park resource conditions and visitor experiences within the Lookout Mountain Battlefield unit of the park. The National Park Service has developed two preliminary alternative management concepts for the battlefield for public review, comment, suggestions, and advice.
