A Chattanooga man was arrested for a series of vehicle thefts.

According to the Walker County Sheriff’s Office:

Thomas Wayne Rhodes of Walnut Street in Chattanooga was arrested March 4.

A business owner reported that one of his employees had driven off in a customer’s Chevy Silverado 2500, along with some tools and an ATV, over the weekend of Jan. 26-28.

The 52-year-old Rhodes also allegedly stole a Buick Century on Feb. 16. Later that month, between Feb. 23-25, he stole a Chevy S-10 along with some tools and electronics. Both of those thefts were from car lots on Wilson Road.

Rhodes also stole a Chevy Venture van from the Rossville area in December.

Three of the four vehicles have been recovered by investigators along with some of the tools.

His bond was set at $17,000.
