· Between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb 13, a residential burglary occurred on Reeds Bridge Road in Ringgold resulting in the theft of more than $3,000 worth of electronics and other merchandise from the home.

The victim told police that she left the house in the morning and returned home later in the afternoon to find the front door open and her house in disarray.

Two flat screen televisions, two iPads, an iPod, and three laptop computers were among the items stolen during the incident.

The total estimated value of the stolen property is $3,400.

The case was turned over to detective Timothy Busby.

· Between 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 16 and 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 17, a forced-entry residential burglary occurred on Teresa Drive in Rossville resulting in the theft of more than $1,300 worth of cash, firearms, and electronics from the home.

The victim told police that the house is currently being remodeled, and that he when he returned to the residence on Feb. 17, the back door was open with pry marks visible on the door.

He also stated that he turned the back porch light on before he left he house on Feb. 16, and it was turned off when he discovered the break in the next day.

A 9-millimeter pistol, approximately $600 worth of coins, a circular saw, and a 25-inch Sanyo plasma television were all reported stolen during the incident.

The case was turned over to detective Timothy Busby.
