Gordon Lee Middle School boys notch 17th straight win

The Gordon Lee Middle School Trojans trailed at halftime, but used a big second-half to down Rossville, 41-28, for their 17th consecutive victory on Thursday night.

The Bulldogs (6-8) led 10-7 after one quarter and 15-13 at intermission, but the Trojans (17-1) came back to forge a 28-26 lead to start the fourth quarter. From there, Gordon Lee held Rossville to just two points over the final seven minutes to pull out the win.

Gavin Roberson had 16 points in the victory. Chaney Rogers added 11, and Caleb Boyd recorded a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

Sonny Green had six points for the Bulldogs.

Details of the girls' game were not available as of press time.
