Up only two points at the break, Georgia Northwestern would turn to freshmen Hunter Ivester and Richard Olsen to put away Covenant College on Monday night, 70-57.

Ivester would lead all scorers with 22 points and added six steals in the Bobcats' first road win of 2013. Olsen would go 9-of-11 from the free throw line to add to his 20 points in the win over the junior varsity Scots.

Covenant College’s Matt Brunjes and Micah Turner would both contribute 14 points each in the loss.

Georgia Northwestern (6-13, 0-5) travels to Toccoa Falls College on Tuesday night for another non-region game, wrapping up a four-game road stretch. Guard Fernando Lemus, Jr. is questionable after injuring a foot during Saturday's game at Emory-Oxford.

GNTC will be back at home on Friday at the Rossville Athletic Complex against Macon State at 7 p.m. With a donation of a non-perishable food item, you can get free admission to the game. Donations will be given to the LaFayette Care Mission, which feeds and clothes hundreds of North Georgia families every month.
