Trojans upend Ramblers

The Gordon Lee Middle School Trojans moved to 9-1 overall and 8-1 in NGAC play on Friday night with a 50-37 victory over LaFayette.

The Trojans got a big night from the inside duo of Chaney Rogers and Caleb Boyd. Rogers went for 20 points, including a perfect 10-of-10 at the free throw line, while Boyd added 18 points in the win.

As a team, the Trojans connected on 15-of-18 attempts at the charity stripe.

KaDarrin Ramsey had 21 points for the Ramblers (5-4 overall).

Information on the girls’ game was not available as of press time.
