MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL: Heritage gets sweep at Chattanooga Valley

The Heritage Generals and Lady Generals picked up North Georgia Athletic Conference roads wins on Thursday at Chattanooga Valley.

The opener saw the Lady Generals storm out to an 18-3 lead after one quarter and coast to a 42-22 win.

Nikol Taylor had 14 points for Heritage (7-0), while Ally Craig finished with eight points.

Amaya Harrington hit a pair of three-pointers and led the Lady Eagles (2-4) with nine points.

The nightcap saw the Generals (6-1) lead 14-6 after one quarter and take control, 28-10, at intermission.

Cole Wilcox paced Heritage with 14 points, while Corbee Wilson and Trent Kiniry added eight points each.

Markeion Jones led the Eagles (2-4) with eight points.
