Bonny Jean Worland will marry David John Miller on Jan. 5 at 4 p.m. at Mountain Cove Farms in Chickamauga.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Sally and David Worland of Chickamauga and the granddaughter of Heatwole C. and Bonny Jean (deceased) Thomas of Chickamauga and Paul W. and Sylvia Lee (deceased) Worland of Chattanooga.

She is the sister of Lt. Craig Worland (and wife Taylor) of Quantico, Va., Scott (and wife Bonnie) Worland of Nashville, Tenn., and Suzannah (and husband Josh) Beagan of Chickamauga.

A Chattanooga Christian School graduate, she is a senior majoring in English education at Berry College in Rome, Ga. She is a member of Rock Creek Fellowship, PCA in Rising Fawn, Ga.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of David and Sarah Miller of Chattanooga and the grandson of Harriet and Fredrick Miller of New Castle, Pa.

His siblings include Lucy (and husband Eric) Mantel, William Miller and Anne Miller, all of Chattanooga.

Also a Chattanooga Christian School graduate, he attended Dordt College in Iowa, University of Tennessee-Knoxville and Chattanooga State Community College. He works as a horticulture technician at WinShape Retreat Center at Berry College.

He is a member of East Ridge Presbyterian Church, PCA.
