The funeral for Fort Oglethorpe council member Eddie Stinnett will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, in the chapel at Heritage Funeral Home on Battlefield Parkway.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 30, from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m.

Stinnett died from an apparent heart attack while driving Wednesday morning, Nov. 28. He was a retired welder and business owner and a first-term council member.
