Lipps celebrates 90th birthday

To honor Jerry Lipps on her 90th birthday on Nov. 7, a celebration was held at CJ'S Restaurant on Nov. 8 by those she worked with at the Walker County Department of Education. From left, front, are Jerry Lipps and Norvelle Copeland; (back) Joan Scoggins, Othella Watts, Pat Chambers and Annette Van Pelt. Others in attendance were her daughter, Linda Lewin, Roy Copeland and Meredith Copeland.
