Man arrested for auto theft

A homeless man from Chattanooga was arrested Oct. 5 in Walker County for burglary and stealing a vehicle.

According to the Walker County Sheriff’s Department:

Twenty-five-year-old Luke Ball was arrested for a burglary and theft that occurred on June 17, 2012.

He stole a black 2000 Honda Civic (valued at $3,000) in Flintstone that has remained an open case for detectives.

Ball was arrested by Rossville police officer Nathan Baker on Oct. 5 at 12:48 a.m., then transferred to the custody of a deputy and transported to the Walker County jail without incident.
