Tipping her hat to her 18th birthday (Nov. 8), “American Idol” runner-up Lauren Alaina is celebrating with an 18-city tour in support of her latest single, “Eighteen Inches.”

Her "Inch-By-Inch" tour rolled out Sept. 21 from Bloomsburg, Pa., and wraps up Nov. 12 in Pittsburgh, Pa., after stops in Atlanta and Dalton, Ga.

In conjunction with the tour, the Rossville teen is also joining with local charities and the Special Olympics, and is donating a portion of each sale of a limited-edition Inch-By-Inch T-shirt to their efforts.

Fans may contribute to the charitable causes without attending a concert by visiting laurenalainaofficial.com.

“Eighteen Inches” (on her debut album "Wildflower") — the distance between the heart and the head, according to the song — was co-written by Carrie Underwood, Kelley Lovelace and Ashley Gorley and is currently in the Top 40 on the country singles chart.
