Mike and Judy Hardinger of Ringgold announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kati Marie, to U.S. Air Force 2nd Lt. Matthew Thomas Heath, son of Tommy and Melissa Heath of Warner Robins, Ga.

The wedding is Sept. 15 at The Georgia Winery.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Ringgold High School and graduated from Alternative Visions Hair Academy in 2009. She is the granddaughter of Joy Chupik and the late Albert Chupik of Rosenberg, Texas, and the late Charlie and Mary Ruth Hardinger of Sylvania, Ala.

The future groom received a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2011 and serves as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force. He is the grandson of Robert and Rebecca Waters of Conyers, Ga.

The couple plan to make their home in northern California, where he will be stationed at Beale Air Force Base.
