The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Shaw Industries fill a number of jobs for experienced machine operators at its manufacturing facility in Walker County.

The recruitment is Tuesday, Aug. 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the community room at the LaFayette Housing Authority at 300 South Oak St. in LaFayette. The company is recruiting heatset and twisting operators.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18-years-old. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
