Tickets to attend Lauren Alaina's October concert at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center in Dalton will go on sale Saturday, July 14, at 8 a.m.

Tickets may be purchased at the trade center box office. Alaina is scheduled to perform Friday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m.

According to Brett Huskey, executive director of the Dalton Convention and Visitors Bureau, Alaina's concert is a part of the third annual Dalton Red Carpet Half Marathon scheduled for Oct. 6.

General admission to the concert is $15. Runners who register online will be able to buy up to two tickets for $10 each, Huskey said. They can pick up their information packets, take advantage of a health and fitness expo at the center, then enjoy the concert later on in the evening.

Alaina, a Rossville native, announced last month at the CMA Fest that her second single, "Eighteen Inches," will be released Monday, July 16. Her new tune was co-written by Carrie Underwood, Kelley Lovelace and Ashley Gorley.
