Youth golfers shine in Calhoun

Several LaFayette-area youth golfers turned in solid performances during a Calhoun-Gordon County Junior Golf Tour tournament at the Calhoun Elks Club Course on Wednesday.

Kelsey Hodge took first place in the girls' 3rd-5th grade division after shooting a score of 38 for six holes, while Grant Langford won the boys' 3rd-5th grade division after a six-hole score of 29.

Cole Ingram shot a 42 for nine holes to take third in the boys' 7th-8th grade division, and Kurt Ingram captured the boys' high school division with a nine-hole score of 37.
