Each year, Erlanger at Hutcheson partners with Cloud Springs Elementary to provide items for families with newborn infants. The service project is headed by the school’s fifth-grade student leadership team, and all students are encouraged to donate baby wipes, diapers, books and blankets. The students assemble the bags for the hospital, which then distributes them to families as needed.

“Through the efforts of the students and teaching staff, many local families have access to newborn items when they leave our facility,” said Sharon Klein, director of women’s services. “This has been a true community partnership, and I want to thank them for their continued support of our patients.”

The teachers associated with the Leadership Team delivered more than 50 bags to the Women’s Center of Erlanger at Hutcheson.
