A Norcross, Ga., man is in Catoosa County jail after being arrested by the FBI’s Northwest Georgia Safe Child Task for allegedly traveling to Ringgold to have sex with a child.

According to special agent in charge Brian D. Lampkin:

Anuer Landaverde, 22, was arrested Friday, Jan. 27, on two counts of attempted aggravated child molestation and two counts of violating the Computer Pornography Act after having attempted to meet with a minor child for the purposes of having sex.

No bond has been set for Landaverde at this time.

After traveling to Ringgold to meet with a fictitious minor child, Landaverde was met by FBI agents and Task Force officers. He was arrested and taken to Catoosa County jail without incident.
