On the heels of Thursday's 43-27 win at Ringgold, the Gordon Lee Middle School boys' basketball team moved to 6-0 on the season with a 52-46 home win over Heritage on Tuesday.

The Trojans jumped out to a 16-9 lead after one quarter, led 26-18 at halftime, and maintained the lead for the rest of the night.

Tucker Bradley had 34 points and 10 steals in the win. Caleb Boyd added six points. Brandon Lewis grabbed seven rebounds and Hayden Howard pitched in with a solid defensive effort.

Dylan Bice led Heritage with 19 points while Landon Carlock finished with nine.

The girls' game saw the Lady Trojans overcome a first-quarter deficit en route to a 27-23 win over the Lady Generals.

Gordon Lee ended the first half on an 8-0 run, thanks to two 3-pointers by Avrie Weldon and a air of fre throws by Lexie Clark. Molly Thomison's lay-up to start the second half capped the decisive 10-0 run.

Weldon paced Gordon Lee (5-2) with 15 points.

Jenny Grant had eight points for Heritage (4-4). Regan Norfleet added seven and Shelby Hammontree finished with six.

Gordon Lee will host Rossville on Friday in the final games before the Christmas break.
