On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I offer congratulations to Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Assistant District Attorney Bruce E. Roberts on his appointment by Gov. Nathan Deal as a new Walker County State Court judge.
Judge Roberts will be well served in his new position by his prior legal experience as a prosecutor and his education and training as a graduate of the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.
His acceptance of this appointment is evidence of Judge Roberts’ continued commitment to public service and an inspiration to all Georgia lawyers as we seek to fulfill both our duty to help others and our high calling as stewards of the justice system.
