According to the Greater Chattanooga Association of Realtors Multiple Listing Service, residential sale statistics for the northwest Georgia area from March are as follows:

For Catoosa County, there were 40 sales. The total amount of the sales was $5,050,336, and the median sale price was $119,000.

For Walker County, there were 37 sales. The total amount of the sales was $2,384,461, and the median sale price was $52,500.

For Dade County, there were 10 sales. The total amount of the sales was $761,500, and the median sale price was $72,000.

For Whitfield County, there were 10 sales. The total amount of the sales was $807,590, and the median sale price was $79,500.

For Chattooga County, there were 4 sales. The total amount of the sales was $119,000, and the median sale price was $33,000.

In total for the area, there were 101 sales, for a total amount of $9,122,887. The median sale price overall was $90,000.

There were 89 sales total for the month of February 2011 compared to March sales of 101. This is an increase of 12 sales in the northwest Georgia area from last month.

These stats do not include all real estate sales for the month, just those being marketed for sale in the Greater Chattanooga Association of Realtors Multiple listing service only.
