According to the Greater Chattanooga Association of Realtors Multiple Listing Service, residential sale statistics for the northwest Georgia area from February are as follows:

For Catoosa County, there were 36 sales. The total amount of the sales was $4,447,432, and the median sale price was $113,904.

For Walker County, there were 36 sales. The total amount of the sales was $3,355,751, and the median sale price was $77,500.

For Dade County, there were 6 sales. The total amount of the sales was $418,200, and the median sale price was $62,500.

For Whitfield County, there were 8 sales. The total amount of the sales was $527,950, and the median sale price was $68,250.

For Chattooga County, there were 3 sales. The total amount of the sales was $387,150, and the median sale price was $117,500.

In total for the area, there were 89 sales, for a total amount of $9,136,483. The median sale price overall was $86,000.

There were 72 sales total for January 2011 compared to February’s 89 sales. This is an increase of 17 sales in the northwest Georgia area from last month.
