Jesse A. Yates will be 100 years old March 12, 2011. He lives in Rock Spring. He was born in Santa Ana, Texas March 12, 1911. He was married to Rosa Etheen Bishop Yates for 75 years, until she passed away about three years ago.

He has lived in Georgia with his son for the last 30 years. He has a daughter in Washington and another son in Texas. He has six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family is planning a big birthday celebration Sunday, March 13 with friends and family invited to attend a drop-in party at his home from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
