Sharp Dressed Man is nationally known as an authentic tribute band to ZZ Top. Sharp Dressed Man has chosen what they consider to be the most memorable moments from more than three decades of live ZZ Top concerts.
A variety of outfits and hats, the choreographed stage moves and banter, the types of instruments, including the fuzzy guitars, the stage props and microphone stands, will all be incorporated into the show.
Scott Willis is the Billy Gibbons of the group and is known for his exact duplication of the songs, as well as his growling voice. Although he said he loves the music above all, the real drive behind the whole project for him has been to “really pay tribute to ZZ Top in a very fun-filled way.”
Don Lybarger, long-time performer and national recording artist, plays the bass part of Dusty Hill and provides backing vocals and harmonies. His son, Dustin, who has been playing since age 12, performs as drummer Frank Beard.
