COMMUNITY · Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School is offering studio space for local artists and classes for community members. Stained glass classes run Feb. 7, 9, 21 and 23. Artists wishing to utilize the art room and equipment are welcome to attend any of the scheduled evening sessions and work in your medium. Room 310 will be open from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. each class night. Classes are $15 per night or $40 per month, which includes most supplies. COMMUNITY · Northwest Georgia Family Share, a support group caring for families with special needs, meets the first Tuesday of every month. COMMUNITY · Valentine Sleep in the Deep at the Tennessee Aquarium will be held from Friday, Feb. 10 at 5:30 p.m. to Saturday, Feb. 11, at 8:30 a.m. Families with children ages 6 and older accompanied by an adult are wel-come. Give your family a very special Valentines experience this year and celebrate this special holiday as you Sleep in the Deep. During your night of adventure inside River and Ocean Journey, you will discover the wonderful and sometimes wacky world of critter courtship. You will also enjoy an IMAX 3D movie, explore behind the scenes and encounter Aquarium animals close-up. At lights out, bed down in the Undersea Cavern of Ocean Journey, while sharks and thousands of colorful fish swim over and around you. In the morning, we'll even give the river otters a special Valentine's treat. The $55 admission includes overnight, IMAX movie, guided tours, special activities, pizza and continental breakfast. CHURCH · Elizabeth Terrace Baptist Church, at 600 Mohawk Street in Rossville, will be holding its 23rd annual Faith Promise Missions Conference Feb. 8-12. Conference preacher will be Dr. Dean Hamby, assistant director of Macedonia World Baptist Missions. Each service will feature a different missionary presenting their field of ser-vice. Services on weeknights will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday services will begin with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m., morning

COMMUNITY · The Hear Now Café, a support group for hard of hearing people, will hold a special valentine event Friday, Feb. 10, at 7 p.m. The free event is equipped with our FM listening system for hard of hearing to see, hear and understand everything, and the chef will bake a homemade valentine dessert. The group will meet at the Ridgeview Baptist Church in the activity center 6 N. Moore Road and Brainerd Road in Chattanooga. COMMUNITY · LaFayette Presbyterian Church invites everyone to a “Pool Party in the Dead of Winter” at the church from 5 to 6 p.m. The church will host a forum for caring for elderly family members. Rev. Lou Snead, pastor of Faith Presbyterian Church in Austin, Texas, will be the forum leader. Rev. Snead has been caregiver for his mother for a number of years. She is 102 years old. Following the forum, those attending are invited to enjoy dinner and shoot pool at the local restaurant One-Eleven.
