Mike and Jimmie Ruth Torbett of Flintstone celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 20. Their children and grandchildren honored them with a reception at First Baptist Church of Lakeview on July 21, including daughter Connie Dye and husband Brian of Huntsville, Ala. with their four children, daughter Patti Godfrey and husband Chris of Flintstone with their daughter, daughter-in-law Tanya Torbett (wife of the late Brad Torbett) of Lafayette with her three children.
