Motorists can expect a single lane closure today and tomorrow on I-75 northbound between exits 345-348 in Catoosa County.

The right lane will be closed on Wednesday, July 25, and Thursday, July 26, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and is necessary for Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT) maintenance crews to repair deteriorating asphalt.

This maintenance operation and the lane closure are weather permitting and subject to change.

Georgia DOT urges travelers to call 511 for updated information about this maintenance operation or any other construction project on interstates and state routes.

Georgia 511 is a free phone service that provides real-time traffic and travel information statewide, such as traffic conditions, incidents, lane closures and delays due to inclement weather.

Callers also can transfer to operators to request assistance or report incidents 24 hours a day, seven days a week. More information is available at 511ga.org. For information on the Department of Transportation, visit dot.ga.gov or follow them at facebook.com/GeorgiaDOT and twitter.com/gadeptoftrans.
