Oct. 23, students at Graysville Elementary brought in over 200 decorated pumpkins for their pumpkin contest. The pumpkin contest was a family-oriented event, planned to encourage families to decorate and spend time working together.
There were various categories including sports teams, funniest, celebrity/historical person and animals. Official judges for the event were Beth Kellerhals, former Graysville principal and school superintendent; Judge Ken Posten, former Graysville student and meteorologist Bill Race, former Graysville parent.
Many families have already begun planning their pumpkins for next year’s contest.
