Sen. Jeff Mullis, R-Chickamauga, Sen. Don Thomas, R-Dalton, Rep. Tom Dickson, R-Cohutta, Rep. Jay Neal, R-LaFayette, Rep. Tom Weldon, R-Ringgold and representatives of U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., and U.S. Congressman Nathan Deal, R-Ga., will host an Open Office Day in Catoosa County on Thursday, Aug. 27.

The date was originally scheduled for Thursday, July 30.

The Open Office Day will be from 10 a.m. to noon at The Colonnade at Benton Place, 264 Catoosa Circle, in Ringgold.

Residents will have the opportunity to meet with state and federal representatives individually about any personal issues they may have concerning state or federal government. No appointment is required.

“As elected officials, it is important for us to get out and hear the concerns of our constituents,” Mullis said. “These open office days will give northwest Georgia residents the ability to speak directly with their state delegation in a productive way.”
