A woman was killed and a man was wounded Saturday night at 1610 East State Line Road in Rossville.
It is the first homicide in Catoosa this year.
According to sheriff Phil Summers:
Deputes went to the residence about 8:11 p.m. in response to a report of shots fired. They found a white male who had been shot in the arm and a white female lying on the living room floor who had been shot in the chest.
The suspect, Terry Lynn Hagan, 46, of Beach Street in Rossville, was the estranged hus-band of the female victim, 45-year-old Lisa Dianne Hagan.
Terry Hagan went to the incident location where he confronted the male victim, Scott Lamar Snodgrass, 39, in the front yard with a .22-caliber revolver, shooting him in the arm.
Hagan then entered the residence and shot Lisa Hagan in the chest.
Hagan fled the residence on foot to his vehicle, which was parked about a block away.
He is being held in the Catoosa County Detention Facility charged with murder and ag-gravated assault. No bond has been set.
Summers said Hagan admitted to the shooting.
“This is domestically related,” Summers said.
He said Lisa Hagan and Snodgrass had the same address on East State Line Road, but it has not been confirmed if the two were living together.
