The top-seeded Lakeview girls got 36 points from Kaylee Clemons, including 12 in the fourth quarter, in a 52-19 win over No. 8 LaFayette.
Shayla Ludy had 12 points for the Lady Ramblers.
On the boys' side of the bracket, No. 1 Gordon Lee cruised past No. 8 Ringgold, 49-25, behind 12 points from Tucker Bradley and eight from Andrew Towns.
Austin Lovain paced the Tigers with eight points.
The No. 2-seeded Heritage boys also had an easy time in their opening round game, defeating No. 7 Trion, 59-25.
Hank Norton and Dylan Bice poured in 12 points each for the Generals while Landon Carlock added 10.
David McCary had seven points for the Bulldogs and Dylan Day dropped in six.
