The Appalachian Celtic Connections takes this opportunity to publicly thank Ringgold Mayor Joe Barger and the City Council for their support of our 2011 Appalachian Celtic Festival and Ringgold Highland Games. Thanks also to City Manager Dan Wright. Their support has benefited us tremendously in our efforts to promote Celtic Heritage in this area.

This year’s Festival was a success and has enabled us to make a donation to the Evitt Foundation to help them in their effort to provide aid to those families damaged by the April tornado.

Again, thanks to the City of Ringgold and we look forward to working with them again for our Labor Day 2012 event, for which planning has already started.
