Joan Koplan, reality TV star, and fellow cast member, Dennis Starr (formerly Croft), of Ringgold’s nationally televised reality show “Small Town Security” will be attending the GLAAD Award Gala, March 16. The GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) will be held at the Marriott Marque in New York City.

A lengthy list of Hollywood’s stars are scheduled to attend, including Madonna, who will present an award to Anderson Cooper, prime time journalist, author and TV personality. Koplan said while she doesn't expect her show to win because of the stiff competition, she’s very happy that her show was nominated.

Small Town Security is on the AMC network. Koplan said they will finish filming their second season in April and the new episodes will be aired in May on Thursdays nights.
