COMMUNITY · Highland Presbyterian Church in LaFayette is offering free childcare for couples wishing to go out on Valentine’s weekend. The church will offer childcare for children (infant to 12 years old) on Friday, Feb. 17, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The church is at 1211 W. ENTERTAINMENT · Four Points, Inc., is sponsoring its fifth annual Father Daughter Dance at the Walker County Civic Center Friday, Feb. 17, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Light hors d’oeuvres, beverages, corsages, portraits, music and dancing will be available. Dress up or dress down—just come! This event will provide a memorable night for you and your daughter, granddaughter, stepdaughter or foster daughter. Cost is $5 per person. Proceeds from the event will go to support Four Points, Inc., a non-profit organization that serves the needs of the family unit in Walker, Dade, Catoosa, Chattooga and Hamilton counties. ENTERTAINMENT · A “One Day at a Time” celebration will be held in the Tiger Creek Elementary School audi-torium Saturday, Feb. 18, at 6 p.m. Love offerings will be accepted to benefit Holly Stockburger, who is battling can-cer. Performers include the Jeff Hullender Family, Junior and Thelma Hullender, Terry Moore, and Gene Lowrey and Pipeline. There is also a fund for Holly Stockburger set up at Gateway Bank and Trust.

COMMUNITY · Origin Church and partners are excited to announce our Valentine’s Big Give tornado relief event on Saturday, Feb. 18th at 1 p.m. at Ringgold High School. In October, $110,000 in free supplies were given away to Ringgold tornado victims and we’re excited to have another truckload of supplies. While supplies last, free tornado relief supplies will be available to all local Ringgold, Cleveland, Trenton and metro Chattanooga area residents with written proof of tornado damage.

COMMUNITY · The Chattanooga Arboretum and Nature Center will hold a program entitled “S-S-Snakes Alive!” Saturday, Feb. 18, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Join CA&NC naturalist Kyle Waggener for an introduction to our resident snakes. How can a snake climb a tree? What do snakes eat? Find out the answers to these and other slithery ques-tions. The stars of this program include the corn snake, king snake, garter snake, and the pine snake. Snake skins, reptile eggs, and other artifacts will be available for viewing. Guests are welcome to spend the rest of the day ex-ploring the CA&NC property. The program is free for CA&NC members and free with paid admission for non-members.
