Lindsey Michelle Freeman and Joshua Russell Franklin announce their engagement.

The future bride is the daughter of Mike Freeman of Rock Spring, Georgia and Jan Gentry of Rossville. She is the sister of Brad Freeman of Rossville. Her grandparents are Charles (Pappy) and Wilma Dunn of Rossville and Ancel and Euna Freeman of Rossville.

The future groom is the son of Russell and Teresa Franklin of Rossville. He is the brother of Matthew Franklin of Rossville. His grandparents are Wayne and Neva Franklin of Rossville and Mary L. Payne of Lookout Valley, Tenn. and the late Mr. Glenn Payne of Orme, Tenn.

Freeman is a graduate of Ridgeland High School. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and special education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is employed by Old Dominion Freight Lines in Ringgold.

Franklin is a graduate of Ridgeland High School. Franklin recieved a degree in machine tool technology from Chattanooga State Technical Community College and is employed by Industrial Valve in Cleveland, Tenn.

The wedding will be held Saturday, June 25 at 6 p.m. at the Patten Chapel in Chattanooga.
