Walker County Schools will host parent conferences on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 24, which will allow for early dismissal of students after a half day of school. Parents should check with their student's school concerning conferences.

Sack lunches will be served before students are dismissed. All regular bus routes will run, and regular bus riders should bring a parent note if not riding the bus home that day.

Parents of elementary students may pick up at elementary schools beginning at 11 a.m. The LaFayette Middle School Academy will release students beginning at 11:35 a.m. LaFayette High and Ridgeland will begin releasing students at 11:45 a.m. Chattanooga Valley Middle, Rossville Middle and LaFayette Middle Schools will begin releasing students at noon Nov. 24.

Walker County Schools will be closed for Thanksgiving holidays Wednesday, Nov. 25, through Friday, Nov. 27.
