Crabtree Farms at 1000 E. 30th St. in Chattanooga will host a Fall Farm Fair on Nov. 10 from noon to 5 p.m.

“There is definitely something for everyone at the Fall Farm Fair. Whether you’re into competing in the bike race or pie contest, or just there to enjoy the atmosphere, you’re going to have a great time,” said Joel Houser, executive director of Crabtree Farms. “Not only that, it’s also a great way to support Crabtree’s efforts in and around Chattanooga. ”

The event features fun-on-the-farm activities like tractor rides, competitions for prizes, scarecrow stuffing, a photo booth, corn hole and horse shoes, tours, live bluegrass music and a raffle with items from local artisans and businesses. Guests may bring their own food to fry in local lard or pick up a tasty brat from The Missing Link. Hot mulled cider and cold beer will be on sale as well.

Two complimentary tickets are included in the $5 entrance fee. Additional tickets can be purchased to use for games, competitions, beer, food and more. Guests who bike to the farm will receive two additional tickets at the door.

Proceeds will help support Crabtree Farms’ educational programs, which include Farm-To-School efforts, gardening education and community outreach. According to a media release, Crabtree has remained on the cutting edge of environmental sustainability and has continued to provide community education about gardening and healthy food choices for more than a decade.

“By keeping the cost of the event affordable for most families, we hope the event will bring more people out to see the farm and learn about what we do,” said Andrea Jaeger, programs coordinator for Crabtree Farms. “You can stay for an hour or all day, and you just pay for what you want to play.”
