The Walker County Chamber of Commerce and the Walker County Messenger are sponsoring the second annual “Best of Walker” contest in which residents are encouraged to vote for their favorites in local services.

There are a couple of ways you can submit your votes:

By going to the Chamber’s homepage (www.walkercochamber.com) and clicking on the “Best of Walker” link, where the ballot can be submitted electronically.

By filling out the form on page A2 of the Walker County Messenger’s Wednesday, Oct. 21, or Friday, Oct. 23, editions and mailing it to the Walker County Chamber of Commerce at PO Box 430, Rock Spring GA 30739, or drop it off at the Chamber office at 10052 N. Hwy 27 in Rock Spring or at the Messenger’s office at 102 North Main Street in LaFayette.

Fill out as many categories as you wish. Only one submission will be allowed per person for paper ballots or computer for electronic ballots. The deadline for submitting your votes is Nov. 10 at noon.

Winners will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Walker County Chamber of Commerce’s Monthly Membership Luncheon. Registration is required for this lunch and may be made by calling 706-375-7702.
