Greg and Lisa Carlock of LaFayette announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Jessica Leigh Carlock to Sean-Paul August Adams, son of Gail Adams and the late James Sherwood Adams of Suwannee, Ga.

The bride-elect is the sister of Jacob Carlock and Shelby Carlock of LaFayette. Her grandparents are Fred and Joan Carlock of Rock Spring and Val Nahikian of Blairsville, Ga.

The groom-elect is the brother of Meghan Adams of Atlanta. His grandparents are Marge Bozian and the late James Sherwood Adams of Suwannee, Ga. and the late William August Adams and Joan Paul Adams.

Carlock is a 2006 graduate of LaFayette High School and graduated from North Georgia College in 2010 with degree in international affairs and is a member of the Alpha Gama Delta sorority. She is currently a second lieutenant in U.S. Army, training to be a helicopter pilot .

Adams is a 2004 graduate of Collins Hill High School and graduated from North Georgia College in 2010 with degree in history. He is a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He is currently a contractor with the U.S. Army.

Their farm wedding is set for July 23 at 4 p.m. in the home of bride’s grandfather Fred Carlock in Rock Spring with reception to follow at the Georgia Winery.
