CVMS gets past Rossville in volleyball

The Chattanooga Valley Middle School varsity and junior varsity volleyball teams got past rival Rossville during matches on Tuesday.

In the varsity match, the Lady Bulldogs took a 25-22 decision in the opening set, but the lady Eagles rallied to win the last two sets, 25-12 and 25-19 to clinch the match.

Zady Carden had 14 service points for CVMS, while Shelby Medlin added eight points.

The Lady Eagles claimed a straight sets win in the JV match, 25-15 and 25-22. No individual stats were available as of press time.
